Our gathering will feature a sensory-friendly trunk-or-treat for COAM families, in addition to the usual Halloween festivities. A Sensory-Friendly Trunk-or-Treat aims to create a more secure and welcoming environment compared to the standard Halloween celebrations. We recognize that people with disabilities, from children to adults, might face challenges or feel left out when participating in traditional trick-or-treating because of issues like social interactions, physical access, communication difficulties, and allergies, among others.
